traffic wasn't my thing. If the posted speed limit is 35 and you are clocked above that limit you technically can get a ticket because you are in violation of "the letter of the law" (that refers to the law as it is written). Probably what is happening, is that your local agency is trying to determine the "flow of traffic" and see if the speed limit should be changed. They probably directed their officers to lay off to allow a "poll" of sorts to see what the normal flow of traffic is. If the normal flow is significantly higher than the posted speed limit and they determine that upping that limit is safe, then that is what the survey is for. SURVEY SAYS: don't speed for 50 points zxerox. I find when I hear "my friend said that he heard that his cousin overheard....., it's best to take it with a grain of salt. I could be full of it and they are actually conducting a lottery to determine who will get their 1,000,000th ticket and win a free night's stay in their five star hotel. Hope that helps, Mark
